On Stage program for a February, 1953 performance of Gigi at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston, starring Audrey Hepburn in the role she originated on Broadway two years earlier.  8 pp.  Light wear to edges, overall in fine condition.  6 x 9.5 inches (15.2 x 24.1 cm.).

Gigi was adapted for the stage by Anita Loos from Colette's 1944 novel of the same name.  The Broadway production, which ran from November of 1951 to May of the following year, starred a young Audrey Hepburn in the title role.

From the collection of Paul McMahon, a critic, photographer and artist who worked for more than 13 years touring with Marlene Dietrich as the icon’s stage manager, announcer, dresser, secretary and escort, and later spent 25 years as an arts and entertainment reviewer and photographer with Gay Community News, Esplanade, Tommy’s Connection, The Mirror, Bay Windows and other publications.
