A fine signed postcard photograph of the Russian dramatic soprano, one of the greatest singers of the Golden Age. A student of Viardot, she debuted in Paris in 1880 and toured with Victor Maurel. A star at all the major venues, she sang Les Huguenots and all the major Wagner roles at Met. In this photograph, she is shown as Armide, one of her greatest signature roles.
