Original program from a January, 1962 performance by the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, D.C. Monteux, who has signed to the program listing, led the ensemble in performance of works by Brahms, Purcell, and Weber, ending with the two suites from Ravel's Daphnis and Chloe. Monteux conducted the world premiere of the ballet in 1912, and made a recording with the London Symphony in 1959. 12pp. Mild wear and toning to cover margins, else fine. 6 x 9 inches (15.2 x 22.9 cm.).
