Notice of Termination from the State of New York Department of Motor Vehicles issued by AETNA Casualty and Surety Co. to "Robert Dylan A/K/A Bob Dylan / 75 East 55th Street / New York, N. Y.," providing proof of termination for insurance coverage on his 1966 Ford Mustang convertible, effective 11/27/67.  Signature to lower right recto corner is from the authorized AETNA representative.  In overall fine condition, with expected office wear.  7.25 x 3.25 inches (18.4 x 8.2 cm.).

In an interview with Scott Cohen in 1985, Dylan recounted one of his first big money purchases: "The first expensive thing bought with my first big paycheck was a baby blue 1966 Ford Mustang convertible.  But a guy who worked for me rolled it down a hill in Woodstock and it smashed into a truck.  I got 25 bucks for it."
