Autograph signature from the Ukrainian-born pianist and pedagogue, who has boldly signed in green ink to a trimmed portion of a concert program, subsequently mounted to an autograph album leaf together with a halftone photograph.  The partial program listing includes pieces by Brahms, Gould, Strauss, and Liszt.  In fine condition.  6.75 x 5 inches (17.1 x 12.7 cm.).

A Josef Lhevinne pupil who studied composition with Goldmark, Gordonitzki was a major touring artist who specialized in the Romantic piano repertory. He was a professor for many years at Juilliard, where he taught Emmanuel Ax and Garrick Ohlsson, among others.
