A trio of pointillist drawings by the late Vancouver-based saxophonist Ross Taggart, who was also a talented artist, depicting three of his Jazz heroes. All in black ink on heavyweight drawing paper. Drawing of Ellington signed "Ross Taggart" in lower-right corner, approximately 10.75 x 7.75 inches (27.5 x 20 cm). Drawing of Webster unsigned, approximately 11.5 x 8 inches (29.5 x 20.5 cm). Drawing of Young signed and labelled in pencil on verso, approximately 8.5 x 11inches (21.5 x 28 cm). All very fine.

Ross Taggart was a saxophonist and pianist well-known within the Vancouver Jazz community. He passed away from cancer in 2013 at the age of 45.
