Signed photograph of the American violinist who, with her husband Eugene List, was known for championing the works of lesser-known and contemporary composers. She is shown playing and has signed with a long inscription to Midland Symphony conductor Walter Mantani: "To Walter Mantani, Remembering the joy of our music making together and with heartfelt admiration of your vital contribution to our musical life. Carroll Glenn." Together with a backing from an earlier frame, noting that Glenn performed Bruch's Concerto no. 1 on December 9, 1961. One small chip at the lower edge; glue remnants on the verso; overall fine. 10 x 8 inches (25.4 x 20.6 cm).
