Enormous signed poster from the highly influential artist's 1977 exhibition of "Torsos." Warhol has signed boldly in black marker at the foot of the image. Offset lithograph in colors on paper. Sheet size 39 x 59 inches (100 x 149 cm), framed to 40 x 59.5 inches. Unexamined out of frame but in apparently fine condition.
Warhol's "Torsos" (1977) was a series of images of male torsos, usually focused on the area between waist and thighs. Warhol developed his studies into screen prints in vivid colors, over which he painted in black.
