An uncommon early autograph musical quotation from the important violinist, who has penned two measures from Beethoven's Violin Concerto op. 61, signed and inscribed below and dated St. Louis, April 20, 1902. On a large album leaf with toning and edge chips; overall very good; with two further signatures of tenor Giovanni Martinelli and opera conductor Gennaro Papi on the verso. Together with a vintage postcard photograph of Kreisler. 10.5 x 7.25 inches (27 x 18.5 cm).
