Handsome AMQS from the important nineteenth-century pianist, who has penned the opening six measures of the Prelude in A flat major from his 6 Fugues (En Style Libre) Introduites de Préludes pour Piano, op. 53. He has signed boldly below and dated Berlin, January 5, 1879. Rather heavily toned with left edge rough; one tape repair to edge; overall very good. 10.5 x 7.5 inches (27 x 19 cm).
