But in \u003cspan class=\"match\" style=\"\"\u003e1951,\u003c\/span\u003e Betty Parsons exhibited Pollock's newest work, a series of paintings devoid of color, completed exclusively in black enamel on untreated canvas. These paintings have been referred to as his \"Black pourings\" and, when he exhibited them Parsons Gallery, none of them sold.
