An attractive autograph musical quotation in the hand of the German operatic baritone particularly known as an interpreter of the Lied repertoire. On a small album leaf, he has penned an AMQS of four measures from German composer Carl Loewe's setting of Goethe's "Der Schatzgräber." He has signed below and dated Berlin, December 5, 1897.
