Facsimile signature of the composer beneath his printed name, signed "Maurin" within the plate. Scattered foxing mostly around the edges, tape mounting remnants on upper edge and corners, slight rippling in a couple of spots, else fine. 12 x 19 inches; 32 x 48 cm.

From the collection of the magnificent soprano Jessye Norman, closely associated with Meyerbeer, having made her 1971 debut at the Maggio Musicale in his opera L'Africaine.
