Original bookplate and library card pocket of the Three Arts Club (a residence and club for women in the fields of music, art, and drama). Together with a typed single-sheet program from the 1964 celebration of Ted Shawn and Ruth St. Denis's golden wedding anniversary at the Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, and two pressed flowers, presumably from this event.\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003eQuarter cloth binding with printed label on brown boards. In 1915 they opened the Denishawn School in Los Angeles; among their many pupils were the great Martha Graham, Doris Humphrey, Lilian Powell, Evan-Burrows Fontaine, and Charles Weidman. The \u003ci\u003eDenishawn Magazine\u003c\/i\u003e, a \"quarterly review devoted to the art of the dance,\" was published four times in 1925.
