The musical quotation in Rimsky-Korsakov's hand is clipped and mounted below a pen drawing of the composer by A. Haferland. The other composers represented are: Maximilian Steinberg (Scherzo from Symphony no. 3); Leonid Nicolayev (Sonata for Cello and Piano); Nikolai Myaskovsky (Symphony no. 10); Mikhail Gnessin (\"Abrahams Jugend\"); Alexandre Karzew (Prelude op. 10, no. 1); Julia Weissberg (\"Die Kleine Seejungfrau\"); Reinhold Glière (Symphony no. 2); Alexandr Goedicke (String Quartet); Sergei Vasilenko (Violin Sonata); and two others.
