Kahn. Referring to the German invasion of Belgium in 1914, the drawing shows one of the duo as a portly Belgian peasant, while the other, as Kaiser Wilhelm, hovers over him threateningly. The caption reads: \"Mike, how I lofe you! Their slapstick, rough-house, English-garbling antics soon caught on and they toured successfully for many years, becoming one of the most popular and profitable acts in vaudeville. In 1896, the partners opened the Weber and Fields Music Hall, where they produced very successful burlesques of popular Broadway shows.\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv style=\"\"\u003e\u003cbr style=\"\"\u003e\u003c\/div\u003eSiegfried H.
