Monteux, Pierre. (1875–1964). Signed Photograph. Signed halftone photograph of the French conductor known for having directed the first performance of The Rite of Spring and for his tenures with the symphony orchestras of Boston, San Francisco, and Amsterdam. Two corner tears and some show-through from the mounting glue, but a crisp signature and overall in very good condition. 6 x 8 inches (15 x 20 cm), mounted on heavy card to 8 x 10 inches (20.4 x 25.5 cm).
