Rabin, Michael. (1936–1972). Signed Photograph.

Exceedingly rare signed photograph of the masterful prodigy violinist, one of the very greatest of all fiddlers, who died tragically young. 8 x 10 glossy photograph of Rabin with his violin - presumably the 1736 Guarneri renamed ‘the Rabin’ after his death - signed and inscribed in 1956. Light partial horizontal crease, creasing and small stains to the outer margins, otherwise in fine condition.  This is the only signed Rabin photograph we have ever offered and one of only a handful of examples to have appeared on the market in the last 10 years.  A true prize for the collector of violinist autographs!
