A silver gelatin photograph by the important Luxembourgish-American photographer and curator Edward Steichen, titled Ann Harding, 1931, posthumously printed in 1986. The image depicts the famed American actress wearing a stark white ruffled blouse, standing amongst foliage blowing in the wind, before a structure with a red-tiled roof, under a clear blue sky with sparse, wispy clouds. The photograph is float-mounted on white ground, presented behind glass in a black composite frame. A hanging wire and a label with additional information about the piece are attached to the verso.
