Below the image, he has written out the marvelous quotation (from one of his own poems), inscribed the photograph to a Mrs. Marie Hoover Ellis, and boldly signed. The photograph is signed additionally by the important American photographer Pauline Kruger Hamilton, who served as court photographer in Vienna. The photograph itself measuring \u003cspan style=\"\"\u003e9 x 6.75 inches, the mount 12.5 x 18 inches, and nicely presented in a period frame measuring 16 x \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"\"\u003e20.75 inches. The largest and most splendid signed Leschetizky photograph we have encountered.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cdiv style=\"\"\u003eLeschetizky, himself a Czerny pupil, was later the primary teacher of Paderewski, Gabrilowitsch, Schnabel and many others.
