Early in her career she was successful at La Scala and in Rome and Turin as Mascagni’s Iris and Suzel (\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem style=\"\"\u003eL’amico Fritz\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan style=\"\"\u003e), Micaëla, Mimì and Gretel. In 1897 she married the conductor Edoardo \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"hit highlight\" style=\"\"\u003eVitale\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"\"\u003e. From 1914 she was widely known in operas by Wagner, singing Kundry in the South American première of \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem style=\"\"\u003eParsifal\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan style=\"\"\u003e at Buenos Aires, and appearing as Brünnhilde at Rome in 1926.
