Smith 13, p. 129. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eA PRESENTATION COPY FROM GEORGE III, inscribed on his behalf \"From \/The King.\/ 1788... to Judith Milbanke.\" The recipient is Lady Judith Milbanke (1751-1822), wife of Sir Ralph Milbanke, mother of Annabella, and future mother-in-law of Lord Byron. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eSamuel Arnold (1740-1802) began editing Handel's oratorios in the 1780s for performances and planned to produce, with Thomas Linley the elder, a complete edition.
