Jaroff, Serge. (1896-1985). Small Archive, including Manuscript Music and Autograph Letters. Interesting group of manuscript music and materials from the founder and conductor of the popular Don Cossack Chorus. The group of former officers in the Russian Imperial Army made many immensely popular tours from the 20s - 50s, performing dressed as Cossacks and singing a cappella in repertory of Russian sacred and operatic music, as well as army and folk songs.
