The image with a warm overall tone, some oxidation of the silver evident in the background and suit jacket, with the mark of the White Studio of New York, framed. 10 x 13.5 inches. Undated, but certainly 1920s.
Milton "Kaddy" Kadison (1894 - 1980) had been Hammerstein's friend since summer camp and had dated Myra Finn before she fell in love with Oscar and married him in 1917. Kadison married Lilly Lubinsky in 1914 and they and Oscar remained lifelong friends.
