Vintage photograph, apparently from a press archive, of Gershwin and Kern together. Snippet on verso reports that they had met when they had appeared together on the Columbia "The Inside Store" broadcast, where Gershwin played part of "Rhapsody in Blue" and excerpts from "Show Boat" were performed. Handstamps "SEP 24 1936" (probable date of photograph) and "DECEASED" (probably added after Gershwin had died). A rare image, in fine condition. 7.5 x 9.5 inches (26.7 x 19.2 cm). Slight wear to white margin. Otherwise in fine condition.
