Pair of original vintage photographs of the composer. Both trimmed (5.2 x 7.6 in; 4.7 x 7.4 in), the smaller one stamped 1930 on the verso and quite rippled, the other one with the partial stamp of photographer Nicholas Haz on the verso and stamped 1926, upper edge chipped.
Hungarian-born painter and photographer Nicholas Haz became one of the important teachers of photography in the second quarter of the 20th century. He opened the Haz-Sanders School of Photography at Rockefeller Center and his photographs reflect a deep appreciation of American popular culture.
