Vintage original matte sepia H.T. Koshiba photograph of the beloved American violinist and composer of Austrian birth who was one of the most important musicians of the last century. An image of Kreisler seated with his violin, signed and inscribed boldly in white ink "To Siegfried H. Kahn with the kindest and sincerest wishes and regards of Fritz Kreisler / January, 1922." Raised stamp of the photographer lower left, upper right corner chipped, otherwise fine. 7.25 x 9.25 inches [18.5 x 23.5 cm].



Siegfried H. Kahn was a member of the famed New York Bohemian Club and a famous host of musical parties in the 1920s and 30s. (9939)
