"It's Easy to Remember (And So Hard to Forget)" was written by Richard Rodgers with lyrics by Lorenz Hart for the 1935 film "Mississippi" starring Bing Crosby and W.C. Fields. Crosby introduced the song in the film and made a hit recording for Decca Records that same year. The song is now considered a standard, one of the most famous recordings being by Billie Holiday on her 1958 album "Lady in Satin." (9609)
