Interesting signed photograph of the great pianist and influential pedagogue, himself a Czerny pupil and later the primary teacher of Paderewski, Gabrilowitsch, Schnabel and many others! Approx 14 x 9 cm.A vintage postcard with an inset photograph, inscribed with a marvelous quotation "Kein Leben ohne Kunst, Keine Kunst ohne Leben!," signed "Theod. Leschetizky" and dated Wien 2, Februar / 1899. Addressed on the verso , a few minor stains, but overall fine and quite scarce. (9532)
