The Italian composer has boldly written the most instantly recognizable opera tune ever written. An unusual AMQS appearance of "Ridi Pagliaccio," here written in German, "Lache Bajazzo," signed and dated "Berlin 2-XII. 1904...Pagliacci, Att I. / R. Leoncavallo." Together with a postcard portrait.

Leoncavallo is best remembered for his opera Pagliacci, first produced in 1892 in Milan and wildly popular ever since. (9506)
