The first volume of the greatest and most profound song-cycle ever written. A very early issue of the first edition. Deutsch describes the first issue (14 Jan 1828) as listing only the price of Part I, where our copy states the prices of both parts. Part II was issued 30 December 1828, after Schubert's death.
