Toscanini's Embossed Suitcase and Vanity
A leather suitcase and included silver-plated and wood/crystal vanity set, owned and used by Arturo Toscanini and embossed in gilt with his name. By descent to his grandson, Walfredo and acquired directly from his Estate. Height of suitcase 6 3/4 inches (17.2 cm), width 24 inches (61 cm), depth 15 inches (38 cm). With wear and scuffs and leather quite brittle, the front panel with handle fully separated from the body of the set but displays well nevertheless. (9000)Ephemera Classical Music
