Vanity Fair Portrait Print, "The Abbé" - FRAMED

A fine chromo-lithograph caricature of "The Abbé," published in the English weekly magazine Vanity Fair on May 15, 1886. The elderly Liszt is shown standing in profile, his hand inside his jacket, and with a kind smile on his face. The portrait is by Sir Leslie Ward, known as "Spy," the most famous of the outstanding caricaturists who published in the magazine. In excellent condition, 15 x 10.5 inches. Framed in tiger eye maple to 17.25 x 11.75 inches. (8813)
