Attractive vintage doubleweight Sudak of Buenos Aires photograph of the great conductor, boldly signed and inscribed to violinist Antonia Booth (1909 - 1993), violinist in the Busch Chamber Orchestra: "To Toni Booth with many thanks for your kind help / Fritz Busch." In fine condition. 23.5 x 17.5 cm.



A student of Marjorie Hayward, Frank Bridge and Jelly d'Aranyi, Toni Booth played in the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra and later in the Busch Chamber Orchestra and was a close friend and collaborator with Furtwangler and Busch. (8435)
