Signed vintage photograph of the late superb fiddler, specialist in the 19th century bravura repertory. A student of Persinger, Piastro and Kulenkampff, Ricci has been widely acclaimed for his technical prowess and was the first to record the 24 Paganini Caprices in their original version.



Gelatin silver print of Ricci in profile holding his violin, amusingly signed inscribed to Bernardo Feldman: "For Bernardo, my dear friend, admirer, and fine Pasha. Affectionately / Ruggio." 17cm x 11cm, horizontal crease through lower half, small stain at right edge. (8410)
