Autograph Album of the Wiener Staatsoper, 1921–1940

Attractive Austrian album with signed pages dated 1921 - 1940 and including autographs from some of the greatest conductors and singers ever to appear at the Vienna State Opera. The album made of attractive burgundy velvet over boards, with an elaborate brass cartouche on the front cover and a brass clasp. In fine condition throughout, all of the important signatures in ink, mostly one/page. 12.5 x 19.5 cm.

The album includes the conductors Wilhelm Furtwangler, Hans Knappertsbusch, Bruno Walter, Victor de Sabata, Arturo Toscanini, Felix Weingartner, and Clemens Krauss.
