Beautiful original 1953/54 layout design production art, accomplished in ink entirely in the hand of Edith Head on 14 x 16.75 inch artist’s paper, featuring 9 variations of ensemble designs by many famous designers of the day including Dior and Givenchy for an unidentified magazine layout. Verso blank, in fine condition.Head did many layouts for the various magazines & department stores throughout the years, this one apparently for Vogue. An unusual type of fashion tribute from the American costume designer who had a long career in Hollywood that garnered eight Academy Awards—more than any other woman in history. (8124)
