Miller, Glenn. (1904-1944)

Signed Photograph

Vintage glossy 8 x 10 inch photograph of the American jazz musician and bandleader holding his trombone. Boldly signed and inscribed in bold blue fountain pen ink. Some light rippling to the paper, else fine.

In 1942, Miller joined the U.S. Air Force and organized the Glenn Miller Army Air Force Band to entertain the troops. In December 1944, on a flight from England to Paris, the plane Miller was traveling in disappeared over the English Channel and was never found. (7904)
