Signed "Fanny" Program

Souvenir program for the 1954 musical play Fanny, 8.75 x 11.75, signed on the title page in black felt tip by director Joshua Logan and composer/lyricist Harold Rome. In fine condition, with partial splitting to the spine, and the inner booklet detached from the covers.

The Broadway production, directed by Logan and choreographed by Helen Tamiris, opened on November 4, 1954, at the Majestic Theatre, where it ran for more than two years before transferring to the Belasco, for a total run of 888 performances. The original cast included Florence Henderson, Ezio Pinza, Mohammed El-Bakkar, and Walter Slezak, who won the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical. (7747)
