Miniature Portraits
A pair of miniature lithographed portraits, one of Malibran and one of Grisi. [London]: A. Schloss, 1836 [and c. 1836]. Each 1/2" x 3/4", plus margins to 1 1/4" x 2 1/4"; printed to ivory card with gilt edges; one with decorative die-cut border; hand tinted; laid down to a portion of an early album leaf; each portrait with an early decorative-lace appliqué frame; light soiling. Very charming Lilliputian half-length portraits of the two singers, both with handsome original hand coloring.
