Signed Photograph to the printer of Philadelphia Orchestra Programs
A superb original doubleweight photograph of the handsome young conductor, boldly signed and inscribed "For Mr. Hallowell with much appreciation of his patience with late arriving programs." Hallowell was under contract with the Philadelphia Orchestra to print programs and included with the photograph are two examples of the programs he printed.Original Kubey-Rembrandt photograph, 19.5 x 29.5 cm (sight). In very fine condition, the photograph set in a period desktop easel frame, 25 x 35 cm overall. Signed images from this period are uncommon. (7533)
