A remarkable association item linking two of the greatest of all pianist-composers in history. An original portrait lithograph of Liszt by Carl Mittag [engraved by Kruger] with a facsimile AMQS on the mount. 35 x 25 cm. Framed and from the collection of Ferrucio Busoni. The portrait appeared in the Berline Figaro issue of 1842, Nr. 42 with the title "Liszt's Porträt." Wurzbach 15, 269f.
