Autograph musical manuscript. 2 pp., oblong folio. In ink, densely written working sketches for his 1949 string quartet, op. 112. 131 measures notated in black ink on systems of 4 lines on both sides of a page of 24 systems. Vertical crease, small losses to left margin not affecting the manuscript and otherwise fine. From the collection of the French musicologist, critic and violinist, Marc Pincherle (1888 - 1974).



An interesting manuscript from the influential French composer, pianist and critic.
