Signed photograph in a program from the great Polish-Mexican violinist. Signed on a separate photograph page by violinist Jose Luis Garcia (1944 - 2011) who joined Szeryng for a performances of Bach and Vivaldi Double Violin Concerti. Wuppertal, 5 March, 1972.A student of Carl Flesch and (for composition) Nadia Boulanger, he had a major performing and recording career, and was a frequent collaborator of Arthur Rubinstein and Pierre Fournier. He became a naturalized Mexican citizen after visiting in 1941 on a mission to relocate Polish refugees from the Nazis, and he taught in Mexico for many years while maintaining an active concert career.
