In full: "Dear Sir - it is most kind to lend me this lovely little piano + I beg you to accept my appreciative thanks + my assurances that it has given me + my daughter a very great deal of pleasure. I am yrs. gratefully, Ellen Terry." In fine condition, 20 x 12 cm.Terry ruled the English stage in her day and was a favorite of George Bernard Shaw. (6934)
