Rare single-sheet program from an 1897 Berlin Philharmonic performance of the great Spanish virtuoso fiddler-composer. Very fine. 14.5 x 23 cm.He performed the Bruch Violin Concerto, Saint-Saens "Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso" and the Lalo "Symphonie Espagnole" among others. Both the Lalo and the Saint-Saens were composed for Sarasate and remain among the most popular works in the violin literature. (6385)
