Four Signed Playbills
Four original playbills signed by the great American playwright, including programs from the original 1951 production and 1966 revival of The Rose Tattoo, the 1974 revival of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and the original 1980 production of Clothes for a Summer Hotel. The programs from 1951's Rose Tattoo and Clothes for a Summer Hotel are signed boldly on the cover by Williams, the 1951 program with an additional Williams signature on the title page. The programs from 1966's Rose Tattoo and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof are signed on the title page, with the latter also signed by the play's star, Elizabeth Ashley.The 1951 playbill's back cover is detached, with a loss to the front cover and some overall toning and wear; other programs are in fine condition.
