A very fine signed portrait photograph of the important Italian composer/pianist. 5 x 7 inches.

In 1907, Busoni published his "Sketch of a New Musical Aesthetic." There, he lamented the musical "lawgivers" and predicted a musical revolution which would explode the traditional tonal rules, saying that "music was born free; and to win freedom is its destiny." (6116)
