An interesting signed item from the well-regarded Australian-born pianist, conductor, and composer best known for his folk settings and colorfully experimental works. A page removed from a program (15.5 x 23.5 cm), boldly signed in between a halftone bust portrait photograph and a printed quotation reading "In days of insecurity and stress the human need is for close contact with something which not only gives immediate comfort but also the realization that some things outlive all wars."
