Autograph Musical Quotation, "The Cunning Little Vixen."

A rare and desirable 5-measure autograph musical quotation signed, inscribed and dated Brno, January 1, 1924, by the Czech composer who here pens music from his charming opera "The Cunning Little Vixen" on a 7 x 3 inch photographer’s mount board.

Janacek completed work on the score of The Cunning Little Vixen in 1923 and the opera was premiered in Brno eleven months after the present quotation was penned, on November 6th of 1924. (5928)
